Product Description

This robust galvanized metal hive stand has some great features.  You can adjust it to fit 8-frame or 10-frame hives, and it has adjustable feet to help you level the hive in your apiary. These adjustable feet also allow you to isolate your hive from ground crawling insects, such as ants, by standing the feet in containers of vegetable oil.  (Some beekeepers use containers of boric acid.)   

It comes with a galvanized finish, but we feel it looks better in black, as you see in the picture.  We painted this with a $5 can of spray paint.  The galvanized surface takes the paint very well. Comes unassembled.
